These are the formulative years where preschool children especially have a heightened awareness of the world around them and where they begin to develop a keen understanding of themselves.

We provide a safe, supportive preschool environment where children are encouraged to demonstrate and practice decision-making and self-help skills. Children will display confidence, enthusiasm and have a strong foundation for learning which will assist in the transition into primary school.

Our programme for the preschoolers encourages reading and language; social and emotional development and creativity and imagination.

Learn 4 Fun Classes for Children aged 3 - 6
The ED Specially 4U School Readiness Programme was introduced to the Centre at the beginning of 2010. This Program is designed and implemented by qualified and experienced Early Childhood and Primary School Teachers and provides your child with a HEADSTART in preparation for the ‘big’ school journey.

Children in this group are having so much fun they don’t even realise they’re learning and developing the most important skills of childhood. Storytime, phonemic awareness (important pre-reading activity which teaches the rhyme and sounds of language), name recognition and letter matching, counting and recognition of beginning numerals, fine motor activity with the use of an array of diverse medium, colours, shapes, craft concentrated on the theme of the week and fine motor objectives for the week, singing and lots of fabulous games.

All these important child care educational skills are gained via play within small groups and with individualised attention, enabling your preschool child to move to the next development phase – READY 4 SCHOOL – next year !
