Thurs 17th 9:00am - 10:30am Grandfriends morning tea Bring along grandparents (or other special people) for a relaxing morning tea
JULY      
Mon 5th - Fri 9th   National Aborigines and Islander Day Observance Committee (NAIDOC) Week (4th - 11th) Children and educators will celebrate the history, culture and ahievements of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community
Tues 6th - Thurs 8th TBC 'Sandpit photos' for kindy photos Children's photographs will be taken for purchase
AUGUST      
Mon 2nd   National Tree Day Children will plant seeds and cuttings
Mon 2nd - Fri 6th   Dental Health Week 2nd - 8th Children and educators will engage in a variety of dental health activities
Fri 6th   Jeans for Genes Day Children and educators will wear jeans to support Children's Medical Research Institute to prevent genetic diseases
Mon 9th - Fri 20th   Living Eggs Children experience the miracle of life first hand by watching chicks hatch from eggs. They will watch the chicks grow over the next few weeks
Mon 23rd - Fri 27th   Children's Book Week 21st - 27th Children and educators will engage in a variety of literature activities and experiences
Thurs 26th   Dress as your favourite book character As part of our book week celebrations
SEPTEMBER      
Wed 15th   Crazy hair day Come with a crazy hair do!!
Thurs 30th   Pyjama Day Come dressed in your PJs for lots of fun!!
OCTOBER      
Mon 4th   Centre Closed Labour Day
Mon 18th - Fri 22nd   Children's Week 18th - 24th Parents are invited to celebrate the artistic skills of their children by visiting their special artwork display this week
Wed 20th 10:00am - 11:30am Teddy Bear's Picnic Children and educators bring their favourite teddy. Acivities will include reading bear stories, playing games and going on a 'bear hunt'. Families welcome
Mon 25th - Fri 29th   Parent/Teacher Interviews Parents meet with educators to discuss their child's development and learning
NOVEMBER      
Thurs 11th 11:00am Rememberance Day Children and educators will honour our Australian heroes
DECEMBER      
Sun 5th 10:00am - 12:00 noon Christmas Party/Children's Graduation Food will be catered. Santa will make a special appearance
Fri 24th   Last Day for 2010  
Mon 27th Dec - Mon 3rd Jan Centre Closed  
JANUARY 2011
