Warriewood Child Care, located adjacent to bushland in a quiet corner of the Valley, is an excellent all modern day care centre dedicated to child rearing whilst providing child care education at the highest level.

Reggio Emilia Emergent Curriculum, the ‘gold standard’ for children in the 0-6 yr age bracket has been adopted. An ‘Emergent Curriculum’ is sensible but not predictable and takes into account the ‘whole’ child. Each child’s ability, personality, style of learning and rate of development is unique and the teachers and carers at Warriewood Child Care allow each child to develop through his or her interests.  It requires of its teachers considerable trust in the power of play - trust in spontaneous decision-making among possibilities.

Activities and experiences will balance stimulation, flexibility, uniqueness, diversity, creativity, investigation, experimentation and discovery as children are given control of the day within a flexible and consistent routine of familiarity, consistency, security and warmth.

With time, space and opportunity to interact in a meaningful environment, a child can construct new ideas and link them to existing knowledge.
