Reggio Emilia Emergent Curriculum, the ‘gold standard’ for children in the 0-6 yr age bracket has been adopted.  An ‘Emergent Curriculum’ is sensible but not predictable and takes into account the ‘whole’ child.  Each child’s ability, personality, style of learning and rate of development is unique and the teachers and carers at Warriewood child Care allow the child to develop through their interests.  It requires of its teachers considerable trust in the power of play – trust in spontaneous decision-making among possibilities.
